RS3 Player Owned Farm Guide

RS3 Player Owned Farm Guide

Have you wished that you could have your own farm where you can raise, breed, and sell your live stocks? Well, you’re at the right place because this guide will show you how you can do that on the RuneScape platform. There are countless reasons why you should consider opening a farm of your own, and the most obvious one is training your Farming skill. Farming can be pretty boring on any MMORPG platform, and that’s why RuneScape had taken the initiative to spice things up and add various enjoyable options to train it. These farms are also a good source to make RS3 Gold while requiring fewer efforts. However, you will need a good Farming level for it.

The Process

The initial step in this rs3 player owned farm guide is that before you can start your own farm is ensuring that you have the necessary requirements, such as 17 Farming and 20 Construction. In any case, if you don’t have them, you can easily reach level 17 in Farming by complete the quest ‘Fairy Tale 1’, or alternatively, you can choose the manual method (both are quick). Speaking of Construction, you can easily reach level 20 by constructing Crude Wooden Chairs and Oak Wooden Chairs.

Once you’ve met the mentioned requirements, you can head over to the farm that is north of Ardougne and speak to the NPC named Granny Potterington to begin the tutorial. During this process, you will have to sell a yak and purchase a small pen from the farmer’s market.

Once you have your own pen, you will have to buy two rabbits from the same market and then build the pen to place the rabbits inside. While that happens, check whether any of the rabbits are diseased and then administer a special kind of treatment for the flu. Next, speak to the Granny again to receive a Fruity Mush, and wait for the rabbits to grow. You can also choose the option to speak to the Granny again for the ‘Advance Time’ option.

Once they’ve grown, you can take them to the breeding paddock, which is behind the farmhouse, and use the rabbits there, while filling the trough with the item you have received from Granny. Same as before, wait or speak to Granny to advance the time. Once the process is completed, a baby bunny will appear, which also means that it’s the end of the tutorial.

This baby bunny can be sold to the NPC named Myfi, the rabbit buyer, who is wandering around near the well. Now that you’re clear with the information, you can purchase your own pens, and raise, breed, and sell your animals, according to your preference.

The Livestock

You can build only build two of the same pens on your farm at a given time. These pens will act as the shelter where your livestock will be raised. During this process, you will have to feed them through the whole growth cycle, and at each successful stage, you will receive experience in Farming. Now, let’s have a look at the list of livestock available to the farm owners.

The first animal that will be available to you is Rabbits. You may already be familiar with how to raise them, as was shown in the tutorial phase. However, after the tutorial, you will have the option to raise Rellekkan Cream Rabbits by killing bunnies nearby the swaying tree located in the Fremennik Province. Similarly, you can also raise Piscatorian Cotton-Tail Rabbits by hunting down white rabbits at the Piscatoris Hunting Area.

Once you’re at level 28, you can start raising Chickens by buying eggs from the farmer’s market. These eggs will have a fifty percent chance of hatching either a Common White Hen or a Rooster.

The option of buying White Ewes and White Rams from the farmer’s market will be available to you at level 35 Farming.

Similarly, you can purchase Bulls and Kendarin Cows from the market when you reach level 49 in Farming.

When compared to overall available livestock, Chinchompas have the most variations, because they consist of Cobalt, Azure, Carnivorous, Crystal, Grey, Crimson, and Viridian. The option of raising one can be available by hunting then down in their respective Hunting areas.

Spiders often drop eggs when they’re killed, and in these eggs, you can find Spirit Spider. However, there’s also a chance of receiving a rare drop and obtaining the Araxyte Spider.

If you’re looking to raise Yaks at further levels, you can kill them at Neitiznot to receive Fremennik Yaks, and if you make pack yak pouches (summoning pouches), you can get Spirit Yaks.

By harvesting Arcs, Morchella Mushrooms, and Bittercaps, or by collecting Mort Myre Fungus and Arc Berries, you can obtain the Gloomshroom Zygomites.

Finally, the coolest and the most dreadful of them all are dragons. You can obtain and raise one by killing the variant you prefer; Red, Blue, Black, and Green.

Conclusion

That’s not the end of this rs3 player owned farm guide! Because you can achieve other variants of the livestock by breeding them. Since every animal has its own unique perk, you can activate it by purchasing a totem from the farmer’s market and attaching it to the eldest stage of your animal. After that, once you place it in the pen, the totem will activate the tier-1 perk, and if you have two elders placed in a pen and each of them has a totem, then; it’ll activate tier-2 perks. Good luck!
